The point you become gluttonous, and hope to get "lucky", is the point you lose all of your money. Seems a bit abnormal, but it appears to be real. The only time I ever amass cash is when I don’t worry about losing it. I went to the the casino last evening with $20. I could not care less about blowing it, I mean, what is 20 dollars? So guess what happened? I ended up leaving with $120 profit in just a few hours!

A different occassion I headed to the casino with my friend Charles. I took with me $100 that I couldn’t stand to lose. I got insatiable, I got scared, and I ended up wagering too much and squandered it in 32 mins! The lesson is don’t ever bet anymore than you can afford to lose. If you don’t panic about not winning, you have a greater chance of winning big!

What other ways can you improve your chances of winning at Roulette besides setting a budget? do not bet on single numbers! Yes, they hit occasionally, but they don’t come up often enough to guarantee a steady profit. Just wager on even wagers e.g. black, red, odd, even, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 bets like 1st dozen, second dozen, 3rd 12, etc Bet on odds that pay out relatively big.

With the basics reviewed, how else might we further increase our odds of succeeding at Roulette? By shifting probability into our friend, as opposed to our enemy. "You can’t win at Roulette", my friend Chris would say to me. "It’s completely arbitrary due to the fact that any number could come up". Yes, my buddy Chris certainly has a point, however at the same time, he is missing a critical part of the picture. I absolutely agree, black or red could come up thirty times in a row, but how frequently does that happen?
